Configuring Server. Appliances.
- Added group of Network and Internet Management appliances:
- Proxy Appliance - installing and configuring Squid Proxy Server for
setting access options for existed LANs
- DHCP Appliance - installing and configuring DHCPd Server for dynamically
assigning of IP addresses
- The system displays Summary Information ( with details of install process information) after configuration of the server.
- Added backing up/restoring services of configuration files at the moment of server's configuration/uninstallation.
- Mail Appliance configures server all spam to be delivered to
the local Spam directory instead of global quarantine directory.
Websites Management
- Added possibility to use FTP/Mail server logs for traffic accounting ( display modes show traffic usage by day | month | domain).
- Added option to create an initial MySQL/PostgreSQL database for a server.
- Fixed value of websites' limits, when it had been set to 0.
- Changed email template for new domain without databases.
- Fixed restoring of disabled domains: features are disabled
after restoring.
- Fixed adding of NameVirtualHost directive into Apache config
file while creating website on shared IP.
- Fixed getting of FTP traffic for domain owner and any of End
Users with FTP access.
New ZTL modules
- Courier IMAP/POP3 Mail Server module to configure mail daemons, authentication and manage TLS/SSL certificates.
- Clam AntiVirus module to detect viruses in local directories, used files and emails, configure automatically updates of virus databases, show known viruses list and manage quarantine.
- Amavisd-new Virus Filter Configuration module to set Spamassassin options, configure spam/virus policy, manage quarantine.
- VSFTPd Server module to manage/modify ftp virtual servers' options.
Additional Abilities And Improvements
- Many major changes in the BIND DNS Server module, including:
- caching information about all domains to speed up the zone list, editing of records on systems, that have a large number of domains;
- setting up RNDC on BIND version 9, so that individual zones can be reloaded;
- support for easily creating SPF records and deleting multiple selected zones or records in a zone, defining more than one slave server to add new master zones;
-requiring of confirmation before deleting DNS records.
- New features in the MySQL Database Server and PostgreSQL Database Server module allow to:
- specify the encoding for database content;
- delete several users, hosts, tables and field privileges, drop multiply databases and tables simultaneously;
- use a search forms when too many databases or tables are listed;
- export tables in CSV format, either to a file or for display in the browser;
- add an enhanced the Export CSV feature what allows to export in CSV format and select of columns to include.
- New abilities in the Postfix SMTP Server Configuration module allow to:
- reject/redirect an email based on its headers can now be edited;
- re-queue | hold | un-hold messages;
- support for the new RBL lookup parameters;
- edit Postfix server processes.
- All encrypts use internal crypt modules on systems for which standard crypt is broken.
- Apache defined variables are automatically detected.
- Added flushing quarantined messages from the queue, selecting the order in which the mail queue is processed by Sendmail, setting the maximum allowed and bad recipients in a single email.
- Additional SSL certificates can be defined for different local IP addresses in the ZTL Configuration module. So it enabled Utmp logging where users login to or logout from ZTL.
- Additional IPtables modules can be specified when editing a rule in the Linux Firewall.
- Added a new access control option to restrict users, MD5 password encryption for Solaris, locking/unlocking multiple users at once, creating users on systems what use an automounter.
- Added possibility to configure Procmail Mail Delivery for classifing an email as Spam using SpamAssassin Mail Filter.
- The Backup Configuration Files module can backup the ZTL config files and list of other arbitrary files, not associated with a module.
- ZTL Users can be temporarily locked without their passwords being lost.
- Added possibility to define an email message for users over quota in the Disk Quotas module.
- The Filesystem Backup module verifies on Linux systems a backup at once it is complete.
- The Fetchmail Mail Retrieval module sets up a Cron Job to fetch mail for all users.
- The Protected Web Directories module allows to manage groups and use a new encryption type for protected directories - digest mode, for more secure password exchanging between the web server and browser.
- Added entering comments from Cron Jobs, specifying a date range that a cron job runs at, deleting multiple Cron Jobs.
- Added Custom Error Pages feature into the owner interface.
- Added translation of Configure Server module, Main Page,
License Management module and Website Management module into Russian language.
End User interface
- Added Procmail Mail Filtering module.
- Into the File Manager module was added possibility to search files by their content, view a scaled-down version of images.
- Into the Webmail module were added features to work with user's email: Spamassassin spam filter, address book, management folders.
- Added possibility to sort mail lists in the Webmail module by From: | Subject: | Date: | Headers:.
- Simplified interface to defined allowed/denied addresses list in the Spam Filtering module.
- Into the Mail Forwarding module was added possibility to send autoreplies with user-defined message or forward user email to other email address.
- Added entering comments from Cron Jobs module, specifying a date range that a cron job runs at and deleting multiple Cron Jobs.
- Change Password feature now calls PAM properly so that restrictions on password quality and length are enforced.
- Added support for groups into the Protected Web Directories feature.
- And many minor feature enhancements.
